DESCRIPTION:\n\nSherry Orchard was born and raised in the beautiful Walla W
 alla Valley of Southeastern Washington state.\n\nA self-taught artist\, sh
 e has experimented with many different mediums but prefers the versatility
 \, vivid colors and quick drying time of acrylics.\n\nShe loves to try new
  things and has found a fascinating painting surface on feathers. Her feat
 her paintings represent her love of the West and the wildlife that roam th
 ere. Sherry’s favorite subjects include heart stopping rodeo action to s
 erene images of the wildlife found only in the great American wilderness. 
 She uses various types of feathers for her work such as turkey\, goose and
  peacock. Her creations range from tiny single feather pieces to large mul
 ti feather paintings that are the focal point of a room.\n\nSherry’s wor
 k has been exhibited at many juried shows\, festivals and galleries throug
 hout the Pacific Northwest. Her paintings have been purchased by collector
 s across the U.S. and from as far away as England\, France and Australia. 
 She has been featured in publications such as Mid Columbia magazine\, PBS
 ’s Northwest Profiles and in various media articles.\n\nLiving in the fo
 othills of the Blue Mountains enables her to have an up-close view of wild
 life on a daily basis whether it's an elk taking a shortcut through her ba
 ckyard or watching a black bear wander through her pasture\, each day offe
 rs a potential future painting. Along with abundant wildlife to inspire he
 r\, the near proximity to cattle ranches and world class rodeos gives her 
 additional opportunities for new painting ideas. She always keeps a camera
  handy to capture those unexpected moments.\n\n\nHarvest Crew\n\nReaching
