What is quilling?
Quilling, often called filigree paperwork, has been around since at least the 15th century and archeologists have found them in churches and even with royalty. During the 6 weeks we will begin with some basic information and how to do the quilling shapes. We will learn 2-d and 3-d items starting with snowflakes and earrings, then progress to flowers and even animals.
What can I do with Quilling?
Quilling makes great pictures, cards, earrings, mandella’s and 3-d animals. Marlys will supply handouts, patterns and some materials. She will also have some colorful strips to purchase if other choices of are wanted. There will be a $15.00 fee for supplies due the first day of class paid to the instructor.
Classes must be paid for in advance.
