P Craig Ellertson will display his beautiful colored pencil paintings during the month of August at the Valley Art Center culminating with a 2 day workshop where he will share some of his secrets to a successful painting. He will be your guide as you experiment on both black and white papers using basic to more advanced blending methods. You will create a photo realistic image of a marble plus plumeria blossoms on black paper. Except for the pencils and some extras the materials will be supplied by the instructor for a $20 fee paid the first day of class.

  2. Small bottle of 91% rubbing alcohol
  3. Small bottle of Zest-it solvent
  4. Q-tips for blending
  5. Eraser Pencil
  6. Eraser Shield
  7. Haik Brush
  8. Colored pencil Accessory set
  9. Mounting putty for lifting color off
  10. Pouch for accessories
  11. Transfer paper
  12. Colored paper

Attendee Supplied Accessories

  1. Battery/Electric Pencil Sharpener (Optional)
  2. Battery Operated Eraser (Optional but very handy accessory to have)
  3. HP or Mechanical Pencil

All colored pencils are Prisma Premier Colored Pencils with the exception of one Primsacolor Verithin Pencil.
