About Us
The Valley Art Center is an exhibiting gallery established in 1965 on Main Street of Clarkston Washington. New artists are displayed each month with opening receptions on the first Thursday or Friday of the month (check our calendar) from 4pm to 7pm. It is our mission to promote, encourage and sponsor art education and related activities for all ages through art classes, workshops, lectures and invitational, open and juried art shows. Past workshops artists have been Mary Ann Cherry, Lorenzo Chavez, Mike Beeman, Steve Henderson, Matt Smith, and Stan Miller among many more. Do you have to much art stuff laying around and want to get rid of it, or do you need some supplies/materials? Now is your opportunity to join the Valley Art Center “YART” Sale Saturday, October 5th 10am – 3pm Setup at 8am Tables are available for rent for $20 each. The judged portion of our June show is complete and we are pleased to announce the following winners: Pastels: LINDA BOULTON Watercolors: CAROL HIX Oil/Acrylics: CHARLOTTE ROGERS Scratchboard: LINDA SHEWEY Other: JENNIFER WHITTED Best of Show: CAROL HIX Voting for the People’s Choice award is open through June. The People’s Choice winner receives a $100 prize and the award is highly prized. Please come vote for your choice!
